NWF Youth Weekend

Where are the youth in our sport, that's easy, everywhere. OK, this weekend they were in Cornwall for the NWF Youth event but when they're not here for the training with all the volunteer coaches and brands, they're on there hope patch sharing the enthusiasm. Odd as it may seem I'm not sure the brands make the difference, sure we want to support getting the kids into windsurfing but having had kids of my own, you know shiny boards only have their appeal for awhile. For me I think we have to say thank you for those that put in the hours all year rather than trying to push the latest and greatest.

That might not sound like a great business plan when you sell windsurfing, but I'd rather grow our audience for the future rather than sell one board now.
