knee Operation

iMissing out on Sotovento speed week was hard enough, but the wind from last week was just too much. Its always perfect when you can’t go out, and I’m sure the next few weeks will be the same while I wait for my knee to recover. Finally had the operation on Friday, were they took a few bits of cartilage out of the knee and after a weekend sitting in front of the box, its starting to feel good.

Apparently it should be four weeks before getting back on the water, got a feeling it will be quicker than that, but going to Karpathos for the speed in two weeks might be pushing it a bit. I’ll get back to the gym (yes I do go really) as soon as possible and see how it goes.

Sorry for the pix, couldn’t think of how I was going to fill out this week so gave my camera to the nurse going into the operating theatre.
